Are you in need of a personal spa day in the forest? Or perhaps you are interested in hosting a group event for participants to step outside their norm and engage in a new and grounded way? Forest bathing, known as 'Shinrin-Yoku' in Japan, is a profound experience of deeply immersing oneself in nature and allowing it to wash one in its energy. It doesn't take a long hike or a challenging mountain to reap the benefits of forest bathing. Studies have shown that even 15 minutes of immersed forest bathing can reduce stress and cortisol levels, reduce blood pressure, relax muscles, improve nervous system functions, and so much more. It's also a profound experience of engaging with our natural environment and reconnecting with our inner self. During this 2+ hour long immersion in the forest, Emily will take you on a slow and guided walk through a local forest in a city or state park within the Virginia Beach/Chesapeake area or on your privately owned land. There will be prompts and exercises to foster a deeper connection with Mother Earth and yourself, guided meditations to ground your energy, and time to be in stillness for reflection. During the experience Reiki Energy is offered as an optional addition to the forest bathing immersion. There will also be a surprise at the end! These experiences are personalized and tailored to the individual or group and therefore online booking is not available.
