Our guides will lead us in an immersive weekend of Mayan wisdom workshops, healing sound bath, cacao ceremony, and a traditional Mayan Fire ceremony offered each evening of this amazing weekend held here in Virginia Beach. You have the option to join any or all workshop offering of your choosing. There will also be an amazing list of private sessions offered throughout the weekend that you can book in advance if you are interested in traditional healing, womb massage, cross readings, divinations, and more. Denise Barrios -
Mayan Spiritual Guide, Author, Time Keeper and daughter of renowned Wisdom Keeper Carlos Barrios. Denise has been preserving and teaching the sacred Maya calendar & rituals for over two decades. She studied under her teacher, Elder Alejandro Cirilo Perez Oxlaj, and now shares ancient wisdom through ceremonies, teachings, and her book " The Maya Count of the Days."
Andy Rocca-
Sound Healer, ceremony guide, and Ajq'ij. Andy brings 20+ years of experience in Maya tradition, energy work, and ancestral medicine. Trained under Elder Carlos Barrios, he blends sacred sound, plant wisdom, and ritual to awaken spiritual healing and connection.

5PM: WORKSHOP: Maya Calendar as a Compass of Life - $45

Reservation Needed.Learn about the Mayan Cholq'ij calendar, the 20 energies, and the 13 Tikus (spirit numbers) and how they apply to your life. Denise will guide you through energetic movement with the Wiqb'al (joints) and how to journal with the energies. This will be a rich workshop filled with wisdom much different from our western lens of reality.
7PM: WORKSHOP: Maya Sound Healing & Pineal Activation - $45

The Maya Ceremony is a ritual in which we light the Sacred Fire as an offering of gratitude and communication with the energies. it is a time to connect with the Ajaw (Creator and Maker). Maya Ch'umilal Reading (Mayan Birth Chart)
The Maya Ch'umilal or cross emerges from the Sacred Cholq'ij Calendar, it is the convergence of the cosmic-telluric energies that were manifested on the day of our birth and which imprint their characteristics and powers upon us. Delving into this knowledge will help you understand your purpose and self in order to develop fully in each stage of life.
Tz'ite Reading (Mayan Oracle Reading)
In the Maya world the sacred Tz'ite' seeds are the method of seeking for guidance, as they can provide very specific answers to the questions or situations that are affecting us, helping us make more aligned decisions. This type of divination is probably the most ancient one that is still being used by human beings. The messages received through the Tz'ite are interpreted in connection with the Cholq'ij Calendar.
Individual Maya Healing Session
A deep healing practice using various tools from Maya Medicine, including candles, stones, tobacco, ancestral instruments, among others, to restore the Balance of Opposing Energies and the Four Existential Planes: Physical, Emotional, Mental, and Spiritual. This work aligns the Twenty Main Centers of Energy Convergence in the body and brings vibrational repair at the Cellular and Bio magnetic levels.
Energy Unblocking
Throughout life we accumulate energy and memories of positive and negative life events. This energy takes root if we don't have the knowledge of how to release it. With energetic unblocking we remove the accumulation of energy from the points in the person's body through crystals, acupressure, and movements that activate the cellular memory in order to heal and regenerate these points.
Traditional Abdominal Healing Massage
Through abdominal massage, the energy that may be dispersed throughout the body is brough back to its center of power, the abdominal region. According to the Maya tradition, this redistribution of our immanent energy helps heal the connection with our point of origin, our ancestors, and even past lives. It brings a deep sense of peace and well-being into our daily lives.
