WHY CACAO?
Ceremonial Cacao is chocolate that is minimally processed, grown in harmony with the land, and produced following indigenous traditional practices of Mayan or Incan lineages. Cacao has been used for thousands of years throughout Mesoamerica in sacred fire ceremonies & community gatherings for heart connection, gratitude, conflict resolution, and so much more.
There are naturally occurring properties in the Cacao bean that increase blood flow to our hearts and gently increase hormone production of oxytocin and dopamine. When consumed in a mindful and sacred setting, this can create a heart opening experience of self-discovery, healing, and deep connection with one another. It's a powerful and ancient way for us to quiet our minds, and awaken our hearts.
HEART-LED VISION
Imagine bringing together a circle of close friends, family members, or retreat participants, with a warm cup of Cacao, sharing from our hearts. With the powerful ancient heart opening medicine of Cacao, we share and connect with one another, we share and connect with ourselves. We remember.
In a Private Cacao Booking, Emily will arrive in your home or retreat space and prepare all the furnishings for a beautiful Sacred Cacao Circle. We sit around a candle or outdoor fire at the space of your choosing and begin to listen, really listen, to our hearts and each other.
Each experience is unique to the group and can be tailored to fit the needs and desires of every individual involved. Additional ceremonies and healing experiences can be included if arranged in advance.
CREATING SACRED SPACE
Any space can be made sacred with intention and heart. Emily will come into your indoor or outdoor space and work with you to create a beautiful sacred setting. All you need to provide is the space, seating arrangements, and the hearts. Emily will provide everything else and teach you how to create sacred space in your home, office space, or retreat location.
Cacao is prepared with the highest regard to its origins, farmers, and living traditions from where it is sourced. Emily will lovingly prepare the Cacao utilizing methods she has learned directly from Mayan teachers in Guatemala. Cacao will be made in advance or on-site. For those with heart conditions or strong sensitivities, Cacao Tea can be prepared as a safe alternative.
